Why the direct link matters
A link to your profile page makes the customer find the review button themselves, and most of them do not. The link this builds opens the write-a-review box straight away, which is the difference between a review and an intention.

- Search your business on Google Maps, open its listing, and copy the whole URL from the address bar. The Share button gives a shorter link that also works.
- Is the review link allowed by Google?
- Yes. Google provides this link format itself so businesses can ask. What is not allowed is offering a reward for a review, or only asking customers you expect to be positive.
- Does the QR code expire?
- No. It encodes your review link, so it keeps working as long as the listing exists. Nothing is stored on our side.
